Tracy Morgan caused concern on Monday night after he was seen vomiting courtside at the Knicks game and was later removed from Madison Square Garden in a wheelchair. The star’s medical issue caused a delay in the third quarter of the game as paramedics tended to him.
Thankfully, it seems Morgan is doing okay. On Tuesday morning, he shared an Instagram post from a hospital bed. With EGK monitors on his chest, Morgan gave a thumbs up and a smile.
“Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning. Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!” he wrote. “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs 😅 #goknicks.”
A rep for Madison Square Garden has also spoken out, wishing Morgan the best and clarifying that he is welcome back anytime. “We hope Tracy feels better soon,” the statement said, “and look forward to seeing him back courtside.”
