Thanks to everyone who joined our July Monthly Community Coaching Call (MC3)!
This month we discussed the importance of setting realistic expectations for the shortened timeline of Q3 due to summer schedules and holidays. Be mindful of “drift arc” — the tendency for plans to drift off course over time — and proactively address it. This may mean creating regular checkpoints to track your progress or giving yourself permission to have a fallow season.
However you choose to spend your time, energy, and attention over this next quarter, make the best of the season you’re in now because you are creating the conditions for thriving in the next season.
Some of the topics we got into this month:
Managing expectations for the lopsided quarter that is Q3
Adjusting your plans (and expectations) when you have an irregular schedule
Building trust and alignment for more effective communication
Creating structure for an early-stage book project that feels loose and unpredictable
Delegating projects and tasks so you can get to the highest and best use of your time
Bridging the gap between high-level goals and executable plans
Member celebrations 🎉
And our next Monthly Community Coaching Call (MC3) will be on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. PDT. (Details coming soon!)
